viaduct coverage: How much percent have you covered?
With viaduct coverage you can easily track which railway lines you have already traveled and which ones are still missing. The calculation is based on the base network per country and your trips recorded in the viaduct app. Here you will find everything you need to know about the coverage feature:
The coverage map
On the interactive map you can see exactly which routes are still missing to reach 100% of the railway networ in a specific country. In addition, your dashboard shows detailed statistics on your progress in different countries. You can see how much percent of the network you have already traveled in each country.
Daily calculation
The calculation of your coverage is a complex process. Due to our currently limited technical resources, this calculation is done every night. All routes entered up to that point are taken into account. Your progress is updated daily. Just visit us again tomorrow to see your current coverage progress.
What do we consider a navigable rail network?
We consider all routes that are regularly (even if only seasonally) operated and compare it with your logged trips.
