Routing with viaduct — How it works

viaduct makes routing simple and efficient. Our goal is to capture your train journeys with a high spatial resolution. Here we explain how it works.

Two routing options

A Timetable-based routing

Timetable-based routing

This method uses timetables to enhance your route with additional data. Intermediate stations are automatically taken from the timetable that matches your connection. Additionally, we add further details to your journey, such as departure and arrival times, train type, or the operator. Important: We can only load direct connections from the timetable. Make sure you enter the correct date of your journey. Some connections do not run daily, e.g., due to construction work or seasonal changes.

B Simple routing

Simple routing

This option allows you to add your route and optionally set via-stations. You can also add further details to your trip as desired.
